On launch, Poland and Bison Grass in our Vodka

Thursday, April 19th, 2007

We have canceled out our management-by-vodka program as a consequence of Chuck P’s comment to our previous post. Thank you so much for that one Chuck, it made everybody here spill their drinks and gasp for air laughing. :o)

Poland: We’ve had Polish colleagues some time now and decided to open a Warsaw branch office which has been up and running as of a month ago. We are very happy about the speed of which our new colleagues are finding their way in and working with the code and the contribution by the Warsaw team is simply fantastic.

Launch: We’ve learned from our prior communication and will have to hold of a few more weeks before revealing the specific plans. However, it’s getting awfully close and we are very exited to give all of you who signed up access to the Polar Rose plug-in.

Come to think of it, our launch party should benefit from the attendance of excess volumes of Polish Zubrowka bison grass vodka from our late management program.
As the character Isabella says of Zubrowka in Sommerset Vaughn’s 1944 novel ‘The Razor’s Edge‘,
“it smells of freshly mown hay and spring flowers, of thyme and lavender, and it’s soft on the palate and so comfortable, it’s like listening to music by moonlight.”

Ahhh, we can feel summer coming! Thanks again Chuck…

Heartbeat from Sweden

Wednesday, April 4th, 2007

We’ve been quiet – awfully quiet – on this blog and elsewhere for the past couple of months. While this post is not the announcement of a general public availability of Polar Rose, several people have been asking us for an update, a heartbeat from Sweden. ;-)

In short, we’ve spent the dark winter months of Scandinavia crouched over our keyboards and screens getting ready to go from private to public beta, a process which admittedly has taken longer than anticipated. However, every unexpected turn has enriched us as a company and the product that we will be sharing with you soon.

So we’re here, we working hard and more than anything we want to share our achievements with each of you!
