Whether you want to make a voyage to Greenland, conquer K2 or build a next generation web application you have to find place where you can prepare for new challenges, consult with your friends and get motivated. You need a Base Camp!
Two weeks ago the Polar Rose team in Warsaw moved to the new Base Camp. It was a really fun expedition! Imagine a group of geeks who use sophisticated tools like ropes and chewing gum to move a bed into a room on the fifth floor. Ufff… no pain no gain!
We are now settled, equipped and ready to continue our expedition to build a kick ass web application!
Looks gr8 !
Please, give us a little information on turning on the matching. It’s been a while. We deserve to know what’s up with that ;-)
Well… you can check results of our experiments on the polarrose.com pages. You can search for a person (let’s say… Johan) and then you will get clustered results – stacks (please check http://www.polarrose.com/found/Johan). Clustering is based on vector representation of the face. In the near future we will also add some more functionality based on matching experiments. Stay tuned! I hope you will like it.
Greetings from sunny Warsaw :-)
